Who are we?

ROVworld Lda  is run by a husband and wife management team James and Gina McLauchlan.  We have both worked offshore in the Oil, Gas & Subsea Cable industries and accrued over 33 years of combined experience in worldwide offshore sub-sea operations. Our field of expertise covers subsea construction and inspection projects in global Diving and ROV operations. In May 2008 we formed ROVworld Lda to provide products and services for companies involved in the field of subsea and surface orientated inspection operations.

The products we supply

ROVworld specialises in highly portable inspection products. We know the type of equipment that will and won't work in these environments and therefore feel sufficiently qualified to be able to bring to you the very best in ROV subsea and surface orientated inspection products available today.   In addition we also supply products which crossover from subsea to surface but still use similar technology.  A prime example of this is the range of Ultrasonic gauges and sensors we offer, manufactured by Cygnus Instruments of the UK.

The equipment we supply is highly portable and proven to be very cost effective underwater and surface inspection tools. All are easily deployable to remote areas of operation.

Subsea Operations

We carry out underwater inspection projects to -150m water depth utilising one of our available ROV systems.

If your company has a one-off inspection requirement, but may not wish to run to the expense of purchasing a complete inspection system, we will carry out the task on your behalf.
