A key factor in choosing the correct generator, for use in remote locations, is portability combined with sufficient output.
A 1000w single phase AC silent run unit [such as made by Honda] will power up to 2 AC-ROV systems and still leave spare capacity to hook up an extra device such as a video recording unit.
A generator much larger than 1Kw will be more difficult to lug around.
